The Gillingham Scout District in Kent covers Gillingham, Brompton, Twydall, Rainham, Parkwood, Wigmore and Hempstead.
There are 10 scout groups, six explorer scout units and a district scout network offering young people, male and female between the ages of 4 and 25, the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of activities. All groups have a beaver colony, cub pack and scout troop with half having a squirrels drey. Explorer scout units are based at six of the groups and the scout network is district based.
