In Summer 2023, more than 40,000 Scouts from all over the world will gather in Korea for the 25 World Scout Jamboree. The World Scout Jamboree (WSJ) is a World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) event, it happens every four years, each time hosted by a different country.
Four scouts and two explorers have been selected to represent Gillingham. They will be part of the 108-strong Kent unit which will ultimately form part of the UK Contingent to the Jamboree.
The six young people - Abbie, Elle, Issie, Josh, Louis and Tom - supported by their parents, are organising a year long programme of events to raise over £18,000 to fund the cost of attending the Jamboree. Please watch this page for details of these fund raising events
